I had a whole bunch of random dried fruits and nuts and whatnot in my cupboard, so I decided to make trail mix. It's so good that I am eating more than I probably should.... :/
Recipe as follows:
3/4 cup gourmet mixed nuts (I had the kind with macadamias, cashews, pecans and walnuts)
1/3 cup plain roasted peanuts
1 small box of raisins
1/4 cup chopped dried dates
Small handful of mini chocolate chips
Really, this is just another variation of basic trailmix. You could maybe put marshmallows in there.. or more peanuts... dried apricots, bananas... coconut flake... or my personal fave, granola. I may have to share that recipe too. I was just too lazy to make any tonight. That, and I don't think the fam would appreciate me baking at 11 at night! :p
